2003
PaAtving will be kicking off its biggest ride of the season. The entire weekend of October 18th through the 19th at "Majestic Trails" in Rew Pa.

The first annual PaAtving rally and pig roast, for the (convenience of riders) will be held all weekend to accommodate riders schedules. You can show up Friday night, camp out, ride Saturday, then take off or stay the weekend and ride Sunday too.

The cost of the ride is $15 for one day, or $25 dollars for the entire weekend.
Camping is free for the entire weekend, or you can book a room at these local hotels and trailer in, in the morning.

Rew, Pennsylvania is located in the North West section of the state. (See map) + (more directions)

Pig roast will be on Saturday, with a mighty fine pig that will be slow cooked over a wood and charcoal fire. Accompanying the pig will be plenty of fixings to make a complete meal. The cost will be $5 a plate, with a kids plate for $2.

In addition, the concession stand will be open all weekend, for hot coffee and breakfast in the morning, along with food throughout the day.

The trail system consists of 27 + miles of mountain trails, with stunning vistas, and challenging terrain. Trail difficulty is marked with two levels of challenge; "orange" trail markers denote an easier route. While "yellow" trail markers, denote a more challenging trail.

The best way I can describe the trails is that they are just like the Rockhouse trail of the “Hatfield McCoy” system in WV with all its twists and turns.

Drainage bumps along the steep trail system serve up some of the most challenging tasks of remaining grounded while ripping up a mountainside.

While the “yellow & orange” signs point the way around the (one-way) trail system, there are also plenty of ways to challenge yourself in the mud, some parts of the trail have a choice of dishing out some mud “Gravy” on your way through, or take the bypass to avoid the mud.

Half way through the system is a large mud hole to the side of the trail that measures about 30 foot square. That will allow plenty of opportunity for the mud walowers to test their skills and machines.

      Parking Details:
There will be two main parking lots, one for the day-trippers and one for the campers. This is done to keep the traffic down around the campers and provide an overall safer and better trail experience. The main parking lot of “Majestic Trails” will be the day use area, while the parking field that is by the (deep pond) will be the parking area for those staying over night.

Campfires:

Campfires will be allowed in designated fire pits only, and will be marked on campsites.

“Save time” print + fill out the (Adult) ride waiver form before you arrive. This will get you on to the trails faster, if you prefer to do it on site, the waivers will be handed out by the parking attendant on duty when you arrive. Then they will have to be turned in at the concession stand prior to ride.

All riders under 16 must have signatures from both parents to attend ride, (youth waiver form)
